Non-surgical Almond Eye Aesthetics
What is Non-Surgical Almond Eye Aesthetic?
For patients who prefer not to undergo surgery, almond-shaped eyes can be created by using threads to pull the corners of the eyes outward and upward, creating eye shapes known as cat eyes, fox eyes, or almond eyes. This procedure creates a more lifted, larger, and more slanted appearance in the eyes. Thick threads are used at the roots of the hair to create the lift, completely invisible.
Who Can Have Almond Eyes Made with Thread?
Non-surgical almond eye surgery can be performed on anyone over the age of 18, regardless of age. It’s a procedure suitable for anyone who desires a slanted or smoky look in their eyes. Because the procedure involves pulling the outer edges of the eyes upward and to the side, it’s a popular choice for those with drooping eyes.
How to Get Almond Eyes Without Surgery?
The treatment area is sterilized, and the area is numbed with a needle. This way, you won’t feel anything during the procedure. A cannula with a thread is inserted into the outer corner of the eye. At the final point, the thread attaches to the scalp at the temple area, and the cannula is withdrawn. Furthermore, the extraction is not done at a single point. This leaves a single opening. The insertion site disappears the next day. Bruising and swelling may occur after the procedure, but they usually resolve within a week. Four to six threads are used in the procedure.
The desired shape is determined with the patient before the procedure. Planning is carried out in front of the mirror during the examination. Almond eye surgery does not cause a lift in the eyebrows. If you also want to lift the eyebrows, threading should also be applied to the eyebrow area.
All interventional procedures are performed with ultrasound guidance. This allows us to visualize the vessels and tissues, allowing for safer procedures.
How Long Does Thread Lift Last?
A collagen network forms around the threads within 3 months. For facial treatments, the threads dissolve within 9 months. The collagen network formed around the threads lasts for 1 to 2 years, depending on the individual’s metabolism. However, the structure of the eye area is slightly different from the rest of the face; the skin is thinner and more susceptible to sun exposure and external factors. The fatty tissue and muscle tissue around the eyes are also different from the rest of the face. For these reasons, eye treatments typically last between 6 and 12 months.
What Should You Pay Attention to After Application?
After almond eye surgery, the area must be kept clean and away from dust and smoke. You should avoid using any cosmetics on the treatment area on the day of the procedure. You should avoid massaging it. It is best to lie on your back for one week. You should take your prescribed medications regularly. A follow-up appointment will be scheduled 20 days after the procedure.
Will the Ropes Break?
We use 6D STAR SUPPORT threads for our rope suspension. 6D technology is one of the most advanced techniques developed for the production of cog ropes. The 6D (six-dimensional) arrangement and 360° Hexa-COG (bone) structure provide a stronger and more durable result than traditional cog ropes. This technology prevents breakage, unlike many other ropes.
What Are The Long-Term Results?
I’ve been using thread suspension procedures since 2012. In the early years, I received extensive training abroad on this topic. I’ve been teaching these procedures abroad for a long time. Safety is as important as the effectiveness of the procedures for my patients. The fact that the threads are absorbable and compatible with the body makes me choose them with confidence. Based on my many years of experience, when combined with the threads I currently use and the techniques I’ve developed, I can say that the 6D STAR SLING is both remarkably effective and significantly safer.
