Non-surgical Face Lift With Thread Lift
What is Thread Face Lift?
Is there anyone who can defy gravity?
Can stop aging?
From the age of 30 onward, volume loss begins in the face. Skin elasticity is lost, and sagging begins. Fillers can address this loss of volume, which can be partially corrected, but excessive fillers can create an unnatural, exaggerated appearance.
To prevent this, sagging areas can be tightened with threads in appropriate vectors to achieve a more youthful appearance.
Who Can Have a Thread Face Lift?
Thread facelift can be performed on any patient, young or old, who has a loss of elasticity.
How is a Thread Face Lift Performed?
The treatment area is sterilized, and the treatment area is anesthetized with a needle. This way, you won’t feel anything during the procedure. Areas with sagging facial skin are marked, and a cannula with a thread is inserted at these points. The thread attaches to the end point and the cannula is withdrawn from its insertion point. Furthermore, there is no exit point. This creates a single opening. This also minimizes the risk of facial indentation, unlike other threads. The incision site disappears the next day. Bruising and swelling may occur after the procedure, which usually resolves within a week. A specific number of threads is not specified before the procedure; the number of threads to be used is determined during the procedure. Pricing is based on the area, not the number of threads. This allows the patient to use as many threads as needed, without being limited by the number of threads.
How Long Does Thread Face Lift Last?
A collagen network forms around the threads within 3 months. The threads dissolve within 9 months, and the collagen network formed around the threads lasts for 1 to 2 years, depending on the individual’s metabolism.
What Should You Pay Attention to After Application?
You should not apply any cosmetics to the treatment area on the day of the procedure. I do not recommend massaging it. It is best to lie on your back for a week. You should take your prescribed medications regularly. A follow-up appointment will be scheduled 20 days after the procedure.
Will the Ropes Break?
I use 6D STAR ASKISI threads for my rope suspension. 6D technology is one of the most advanced techniques developed for the production of cog ropes. The 6D (six-dimensional) arrangement and 360° Hexa-COG (bone) structure provide a stronger and more durable result than traditional cog ropes. This technology prevents breakage, unlike many other threads.
What Are The Long-Term Results?
I’ve been using thread suspension procedures since 2012. In the early years, I received extensive training both in Türkiye and abroad. Now, I teach my colleagues about these procedures. Safety is as important as effectiveness for my patients. Based on my many years of experience, when combined with the threads I currently use and the techniques I’ve developed, I can say that the 6D STAR SLING is the most effective and safe method.
Should Face Lift or Filling Be Applied?
As we age, various changes occur in the face. Fatty tissue melts away. Ligaments that act as tendons in the face rupture or loosen. Elastin and collagen in the skin decrease. Each of these factors leads to sagging skin.
When deciding on a procedure, the choice should be based on the facial changes. If the fat pads at the facial support points have melted, filler should be applied. Patients’ first concern is that the filler will create a bloated appearance. Our goal isn’t to reshape the face with filler; rather, it’s to replace the lost volume by simply replacing the amount lost, restoring the face to its former youthful appearance.
If ligament problems are present, slings can be used to support the ligaments and eliminate the appearance of sagging. Loss of elastin and collagen in the skin can be treated with treatments such as moisture injections and youth injections.
A treatment plan is created based on whichever of these factors is involved. However, it’s important to remember that these changes often occur simultaneously. In such cases, a single treatment alone will not yield results. In such cases, a combination treatment will both improve the results and achieve a more natural appearance.
