Temple Stretching With Rope Suspension

Temple Stretching With Rope Suspension

What is a Temple Thread Lift?

As we age and due to the effects of gravity on our bodies, our temples begin to sag slightly. This sagging also puts pressure on the area around our eyes and eyebrows. It’s possible to lift sagging temples with a thread lift. Thread lifts are painless because the area is numbed with a needle before the procedure. Thanks to the threads placed, the skin around the temples regains its elasticity and restructures.

Who Can Have a Temple Thread Lift?

Temple lift can be applied to anyone who wants to have taut temples as if their hair were tied into a ponytail.

How is Temple Lifting Done with Thread?

The treatment area is sterilized, and the area is numbed with a needle. This way, you won’t feel any pain during the procedure. A cannula with a thread is inserted into the temple area. At the end, the thread attaches to the scalp, and the cannula is withdrawn. Furthermore, the procedure is not performed at a single point. This leaves a single opening. The insertion site disappears the next day. Bruising and swelling may occur after the procedure, but they usually resolve within a week.

How Long Does Thread Lift Last?

A collagen network forms around the threads within 3 months. For facial treatments, the threads dissolve within 9 months. The collagen network formed around the threads lasts for 1 to 2 years, depending on the individual’s metabolism. However, the structure of the eye area is slightly different from the rest of the face; the skin is thinner and more susceptible to sun exposure and external factors. The fatty tissue and muscle tissue around the eyes are also different from the rest of the face. For these reasons, eye treatments typically last between 6 and 12 months.

What Should You Pay Attention to After Application?

After the procedure, the area must be kept clean and away from dust and smoke. You should not use any cosmetics on the treatment area on the day of the procedure. You should not massage it. It is best to lie on your back for one week. You should take your prescribed medications regularly. A follow-up appointment will be scheduled 20 days after the procedure.

Will the Ropes Break?

We use 6D STAR SUPPORT threads for our rope suspension. 6D technology is one of the most advanced techniques developed for the production of cog ropes. The 6D (six-dimensional) arrangement and 360° Hexa-COG (bone) structure provide a stronger and more durable result than traditional cog ropes. This technology prevents breakage, unlike many other ropes.

What Are The Long-Term Results?

I’ve been using thread suspension procedures since 2012. In the early years, I received extensive training both in Türkiye and abroad. Now, I teach my colleagues about these procedures. Safety is as important as effectiveness for my patients. Based on my many years of experience, when combined with the threads I currently use and the techniques I’ve developed, I can say that the 6D STAR SLING is the most effective and safe method.
